AbelCine served as the tech consultant, strategist and lead systems integrator to the Cinema Studies Department of NYU Tisch for the creation of the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center at the Industry City campus in Brooklyn. AbelCine led the production and broadcast systems facility build, consisting of two sound stages, two broadcast studios, two control rooms, and multiple ancillary multi-purpose training spaces.
We partnered with Lux Machina on the virtual production integration, and we provided curriculum consultation and development around NYU’s Introduction to Virtual Production 101/201 and VFX graduate programs.
