Perelman Performing Arts Center, NYC
AbelCine managed all local crew hiring and production logistics, including coordination with the venue and the broader event production team. AbelCine also delivered engineering, camera systems, lensing, and support for delivery of the final production signal to the client's end platform.
For the staffing needs, AbelCine provided a dedicated Production Manager overseeing the project from pre-production through onsite execution. In total, 28 production roles were filled, including engineers, livestream technicians, graphics operators, audio technicians, DITs, camera, dolly, and PTZ operators, 1st & 2nd ACs, floor managers, and PAs, all working in close collaboration with Tiny Ark’s onsite team. AbelCine supplied 15 cameras, including Sony FX9 and FR7 PTZ systems, paired with Canon optics, MultiDyne SilverBacks, and supporting accessories. The team delivered comprehensive coverage across the multi-hour livestream, including keynote sessions in the main theater, breakout sessions in smaller side rooms, and a podcast booth in the lobby. All camera feeds were routed to a centralized control room for capture and distribution.
"There is a lot that happens behind the scenes on an event like this. From early planning through to show day, Pioneer was an ambitious project, with big ideas at its core. AbelCine were thoughtful and practical partners and their support helped us deliver it in a way that felt seamless and considered.
– Nathan Reilly (Executive Producer & CEO, Tiny Ark)
