Sight & Sound, Lancaster, PA
AbelCine provided Sony cinema cameras and Fujinon lenses to the production, along with camera support, mobility solutions, plus fiber routing and infrastructure via MultiDyne SilverBack camera adapters. To integrate Sony VENICE 2 and BURANO cameras into a traditional live broadcast workflow, AbelCine's video engineering core handled fiber-to-copper conversion of all camera signals (video, audio, timecode, genlock, ethernet, etc.) as well as return video, color management, and internal recording for all cameras in Sony's X-OCN RAW format.
AbelCine partnered closely with Sight & Sound's creative and technical staff to prep and test all equipment at our Brooklyn, NY facility, as well as with broadcast engineering provider NEP while on-site in Lancaster, PA.
