Behind the Lens: Series Wrap Up

Since we recently wrapped our Behind The Lens series, where we took a closer look at 11 documentary zoom lenses, we thought it would be appropriate to take some time to step back and reflect on what we learned.

I had the chance to sit down with New York-based DP Matt Porwoll who shot and directed the series for us. Join Matt and I as we discuss the testing we did as well as some of the general themes that emerged after shooting and editing footage from all the lenses.

Additionally, we've revised the original chart that we included in the first Behind the Lens post to reflect updated lower pricing and options on some of the lenses. Click on the chart below to see a larger version or to download as a pdf.

We hope you enjoyed all the Behind the Lens videos and posts. Special thanks goes out to Industry City, Newsshooter, and Musicbed for their support.
