Making 4K Plug & Play

The latest issue of HD Video Pro magazine features an article I wrote about the future of 4K video solutions. We have all heard of 4K RAW solutions, but there are those of us who want the 4K resolution, without some of the unique challenges of RAW. In this article I describe how the Canon C500 can be used with an external recorder like the AJA Ki Pro Quad to record and output 4K video.

If you still aren't sure about the whole 4K thing, then this will certainly be a good read. Check out the latest issue of HD Video Pro on store shelves, or read my article online: Help Desk: 4K Plug-And-Play

To make things clearer, I touched on data space requirements, recording simultaneously in 4K and HD, LUTs, external recorders, and more.
