New York, NY -- April 4, 2016 -- AbelCine, the noted production equipment and service provider, has announced plans to expand their New York operation to Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn this summer.
The company has broken ground on the construction of a 12,000 sq ft technical development center, which will serve as the new home for their expanding engineering and systems integration services.
"Our ability to innovate and develop solutions that benefit our production customers is what has always kept us ahead of our industry's technology curve," stated Rich Abel, COO and chief architect of the Brooklyn expansion. "Providing a purpose-built environment for our engineers to develop these ideas will greatly enhance our capabilities in this regard."
The first phase of AbelCine's Brooklyn expansion is scheduled to be complete by midsummer 2016. The facility will feature an engineering lab, complete with product design and assembly areas, and an expanded machine shop for product prototyping and light manufacturing. In addition, the space will house AbelCine's Solutions Group, consisting of integration design, assembly and staging areas, as well as ample space for project management, technical collaboration, administration and equipment storage.
