AbelCine's Coronavirus Precautions

We take the health of our clients and staff seriously. We are actively monitoring developments related to coronavirus (COVID-19) and are taking steps to ensure the safety of everyone who enters our facilities.

All our locations are open, and we are taking these precautionary measures:

  • Cleaning supplies, including hand sanitizer, wipes, and tissues, have been placed in all common areas of the office for staff and visitors to use
  • Our cleaning crews have been instructed to increase the frequency of environmental cleaning services consistent with flu protocol
  • We are monitoring the advice of public health authorities in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York so that we are informed of any changing local conditions

We are evaluating our training and event schedule on an ongoing basis. If you are planning on attending an event or class at AbelCine and you have any questions or would like to confirm details, please email [email protected].

For the latest information, visit our COVID-19 Updates page.

As you go about your daily activities, we recommend following these simple preventative measures to avoid getting sick or spreading the virus:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
  • Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes with unwashed hands, as that is how most people get the virus. The virus appears not to spread in an airborne fashion.
  • Practice coughing and sneezing hygiene – always cover your mouth and nose when sneezing. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If a tissue is not readily available, you should cough or sneeze into your elbow, or shoulder, and NOT into your hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • If you are feeling unwell it is best to stay home, regardless of whether you have symptoms matching the coronavirus or not

For the latest information on coronavirus, please visit the World Health Organization (WHO) website, which discusses all aspects of the virus and its most common symptoms. Regularly updated information is also available on the  U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) site.
