The Sony VENICE allows productions to bring cinematic storytelling to live events thanks to its full frame sensor, high dynamic range, excellent low light performance, overhauled color science featuring a large color gamut, and the ability to utilize cinema optics for a shallow depth of field.
The SilverBack-VB system provides a robust, full-bandwidth fiber optic link between the Sony VENICE and a truck, control room, or video village. The system routes all signals needed for VENICE multi-camera 4K/UHDTV production through a single tactical or SMPTE hybrid fiber cable, ensuring dependable, trouble-free connectivity on any studio or live production.
The system can transport up to one 12G-SDI and one 3G-SDI signal bi-directionally between the camera and Base Station. RCP paint control is supported using the serial data connection. Genlock, Intercom, Tally and GPIO are also provided. Power is supplied to the camera using the JUICE-48 power supply and SMPTE fiber cable.
