Overview
The compact Sennheiser MXF 8000 In-Line Filter blocks intereference from infrasound or low-frequency noises, which might be caused by wind and handling. It is ideal for run-and-gun ENG applications and outdoor broadcast or film locations where effective blocking of unwanted noise is necessary for clean audio recording. While the mic cuts infrasound, it also preserves extremely low inherent noise and complex acoustic details.
In addition, the MXF 8000 extends the length of your MKH 8060 Microphone so that it fits in optional Rycote or RODE shockmounts.
