SHAPE Sony FX9 Camera Cage Baseplate with Handle

Add accessories and handheld functionality to your Sony PXW-FX9 camera with this professional SHAPE Sony FX9 Camera Cage Baseplate with Handle kit. Includes a shoulder mount baseplate with 15mm rod system, a form-fitting side plate with ARRI rosette , a top plate, rear insert plate, and rosette handle with black push-button. The baseplate features an integrated shoulder mount that allows you to convert your tripod-mounted camera into a handheld shoulder rig. The rear insert plate attaches to the rear of the camera to support it on the baseplate. The 15mm rods allow you to mount additional accessories like a matte box and follow focus. The push-button handle attaches to the baseplate and can rotate using the rosette joints for the most comfortable position.

This kit includes the following components:

The SHAPE Sony FX9 V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate (FX9BP) features ARRI rosettes, a shoulder pad, front and rear 15mm LWS rod consoles, and an adapter plate. Attaches to your PXW-FX9 camera via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws. Four rubber pads at the top of the baseplate protect the finish of, and securely grip, your Sony FX9 camera. Includes (2) 12" 15mm support rods. Made of CNC aluminum.

The SHAPE Sony FX9 Camera Cage (FX9CAGE) is a form-fitting camera cage with a side arm ARRI rosette and various 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 accessory mounting threads. Made of CNC aluminum. 

The SHAPE Sony FX9 Rear Insert Plate (FX9RIP) supports the rear of the PXW-FX9 camera body. Includes Mounting Screws & Allen Key. Made of CNC aluminum.

Each pair of lightweight, aluminum SHAPE 15mm Rods - 8” (15TUBE8) and SHAPE 15mm Rods - 4” (15TUBE4) are standard camera support rods designed for your shoulder rigs, matteboxes, and long zoom lens support. The rods are 15 mm in diameter, hollow, non-threaded, and coated with a clear finish.
