The Matthews Master Mount Car Mounting System integrates MICROgrip technology along with the Matthews family of Ball Heads to provide the professional camera person a very strong, versatile, and reliable system for mounting cameras to automobiles, trucks, boats, trains, and even low-flying airplanes.

Set up quickly with the Matthews Camera Mount Systems. After just a few tries, you will be able to place any camera, in any position, in just 5-10 minutes with excellent stability and crisp images. 

The Master Mount system includes:

Mounting Details

Your main mount, the 10" suction cup paired with a dovetail plate and the Matthews BH-30 Ball Head, secures your camera to the clean, flat non-porous surface of your vehicle. The vacuum seal of the suction cup grants your dovetail plate the security you need to add your camera in multiple configurations (on a gimbal support, an extension arm, BH-30 Ball Head mounted directly on the dovetail plate, a Magic Riser, etc.).

The 10" Suction Cup is a heavy-duty vacuum pump. Like most suction cups from Matthews, this one includes an easy-to-use pump action. Simply pump until the red marker disappears to create a secure bond.

The BH-30 includes a quick-release on the top plate to allow you to reposition your camera between takes. Leave your mounting plate attached to the camera so you can decrease setup time. Matthews Ball Heads are individually CNC machined from solid bar stock to ensure precise control.

NOTE: As with any situation where the camera is mounted to a moving vehicle, Matthews recommends you always use auxiliary straps (not included in the system) to secure your camera for safety purposes. AbelCine sells ratchet straps and tie down hardware for this sort of purpose.
