SHAPE 4 Axis Push Button Magic Arm with 1/4-20 Mount

SHAPE 4 Axis Push Button Magic Arm with 1/4-20 Mount is ideal for mounting an on-board monitor or monitor/recorder onto your camera rig. It allows quick and precise adjustments of your camera monitor with the help of SHAPE's patented Push Button Technology.

It is compatible with any camera rig with 1/4-20 threaded hole or 15mm rods.

Support Arm with Push Button Technology

SHAPE is well known for its Push Button Handles, now used by so many professionals in the industry. Their patented technology allows your to make quick adjustments by pressing a button. On the 4 Axis Push Button Magic Arm you can push the button for 360 degrees of rotation to place your handle in the best position.

There are (2) points of spherical rotation. You can also tilt forward and backward with (2) adjustments points. 

The camera support arm features (4) push buttons. Using them, you can make vertical and horizontal positioning adjustments of the camera accessory from the top or the bottom of the arm. When you use the Push Button Technology you adjust a single axis; the Magic Arm does not articulate at every joint at the same time.

Fixed Dimensions

This Magic Arm is a fixed length of 6.5" (16.51 cm). Not too long to maximize strength but just enough to allow a comfortable manipulation of your camera accessories.

Mount and Remove Quickly

Support accessories on this Arm, such as your monitor or monitor/recorder, viewfinder, microphone, on-board light, etc. The 1/4-20 screw on the top of the Magic Arm is mounted with a bracket so you can manually fix your accessories to the arm without a tool.

Quickly Attach the Arm to Your Rig

The bottom section of the device features a 1/4-20 screw. With this mount point you can easily mount or remove the arm from your camera rig.

NOTE: You can clamp the device to your 15 mm rods when you add an optional 15 mm Rod Bloc system to the bottom section (Speak your your Abel Salesperson about the product sku RP415 – 4 Axis Push Button Arm 15 mm Rod Bloc).

Lightweight & Robust

The device weight is only 0.45 lb (0.2 kg). It is made from hard anodized aluminum with stainless steel screws to prevent rusting.

The rubberized mount platform surface includes the 1/4-20 screw where you secure your camera base. A D-Ring lets you tighten the screw in a tool-less fashion or use a flathead/slotted screwdriver to tighten the screws instead of finger tightening with the provided D-Ring.

Locking Stoppers

The bottom section features (2) stoppers (ARRI compatible locking attachment mechanism) to strongly fix the magic arm to your camera.
