The SHAPE Composite Grip Handheld Camera Support was designed for an inline position with the shoulder axis. This ergonomic shoulder rig is simple to adjust and customize according to your specific needs, and enables a fast transition from tripod to shoulder mount in one simple click (by attaching the tripod plate beneath the SHAPE Paparazzi Riser). Quick and easy setup with a 4mm Allen key. Each support module can be assembled or disassembled easily for travel; no tools required.
The SHAPE Paparazzi Riser is a 2" camera riser with sliding screw slot (4" of travel), allowing the camera position to be adjusted forward or backward on the riser. It also offers lateral adjustment. The riser features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for mounting various accessories.
The SHAPE Sliding Rod Bloc can be attached to the front of the Paparazzi Riser via one ratchet knob. It holds two 15mm rods securely, with a vertical adjustment option. This kit includes (2) 8" 15mm female to female (1/2"-13) support rods, made from anodized aluminum.
The SHAPE Quick Handle Rod Bloc is a combination 15mm LWS rod clamp and ratcheting dual handgrip. Each handle can be rotated 360° with the push of a button, and locked into place when the button is released. The Rod Bloc locks onto 15mm LWS support rods with a single ratcheting lever.
The SHAPE Composite Shoulder Pad is adjustable, transferring weight to the operator's shoulder close to the body's center of gravity. This shoulder features up to 2.75" (7cm) adjustment, on standard 15mm diameter rods, thanks to its own Sliding Rod Bloc. It also features a rear hard point for attachement of a counterweight (not included).
This kit also includes a SHAPE Back Pad, which helps to further support the weight of the camera rig, especially when tilting downward. The Back Pad is easily attached to and removed from the Composite Grip system, and can be adjusted 360° horizontally and up to 2" vertically.
