ARRI 1200/1800W High Speed Electronic Ballast (ALF & DMX)

ARRI 1200/1800W High Speed Electronic Ballast (ALF & DMX) offers flicker-free power for your lampheads. Targeted for 1200W or 1800W Tungsten light fixtures, this Ballast includes Active Line Filter (ALF) to reduce interference, plus DMX 512 protocol for remote control. It also maintains a quiet operation for environments where you need to pick-up clean audio.

Ballast will accept cable runs up to 300 feet long. It features automatic detection of the lamphead. It also offers a flicker-free or high speed or low-noise mode.

ARRI High Speed or HS Ballasts run lamp frequencies up to 1,200 Hz with frame rates up to 3000fps on multiple sources. On a single source you will achieve about 1000fps. The High Speed Ballast line will facilitate flicker-free images even at frame rates of 1000 fps and in many cases beyond even with a single discharge daylight source. Set to High Speed mode, ARRI electronic ballasts supply your lamp with a greatly-raised square wave current, allowing worry-free setups for varied application, such as SFX, VFX, commercials, sports, industrial applications, automotive component testing, and more.

Multiple indcators provide feedback on things like Lamp On, Remote/DMX, Output Mode (Frequency), Protective Earth, and Overtemperature. It also provides Compensation of Cable Losses (CCL), and Active Line Filter (ALF). 

The standard housing for ARRI High Speed Electronic Ballasts features a blue body with black edges.
