Overview
The Chrosziel CDM-100 Digital Motor is a horizontally-aligned lens motor designed primarily for use with gimbals, drones, and Steadicam. These motors are ideal for focus, iris, or zoom lens control, and are exceptionally lightweight at 0.27 lb (126 g) per motor (including small gear, rod clamp, and cable). The CDM-100 is also very compact, measuring only 2.44" (62mm) in length, with an industry standard 19mm motor housing diamater, and max. diameter of 25mm (0.98") without a drive gear attached.
The CDM-100 is quiet and energy efficient, consuming only 250 mAh at 24V maximum. Each motor features a 27.6" (70cm) hardwired cable terminating in a LEMO 1B 7-pin connector, which attaches directly to your Chrosziel MagNum and the Aladin MK II, as well as compatible 3rd party lens control systems. This hardwired cable design reduces weight by eliminating a metal connector and port between motor and cable.
Each motor also includes an EU15-19 15mm/19mm Universal Rod Clamp, eliminating the need for easily lost or misplaced rod diameter bushings/adapters. A pair of 40mm and 60mm diameter, 0.8 Mod gear drives are also included (e.g., 40mm Ø for Zeiss Compact Prime focus ring, 60mm Ø for Zeiss Compact Prime iris ring).
