ARRI 2500/4000W 120-240V Electronic Ballast (ALF & DMX)

ARRI 2500/4000W 120-240V Electronic Ballast (ALF & DMX) is a multi-voltage, dual wattage electronic ballast for your ARRI D25 2500W HMI Fresnel, D40 4000W HMI Fresnel, ARRI X 40/25, M40, and ARRISUN 40 lampheads. This Ballast includes Active Line Filter (ALF) to reduce interference, plus DMX 512 protocol for remote control. The ALF (Active Line Filter), sometimes referred to as Power Factor Correction, helps you more accurately measure your electrical usage and eliminates Harmonic Disruption. This is accomplished by shifting the voltage and current waveforms in phase and minimizing harmonics and spikes. ALF also minimizes the current carried back on the neutral leg of the power systems.

Ballast will accept cable runs up to 300' long. The standard housing for ARRI Electronic Ballasts features a blue body with black edges.
