Join us on Tuesday, August 18 for Creative Forces Online! This FREE event will feature special guests cinematographer Alexander D. Paul and Camera Assistants Rachael Doughty & Anthony Hart. The team will give a behind the scenes look at how they worked together on Netflix's Street Food: Latin America, and take a deeper dive into what makes a great DP / AC relationship. The event will be hosted by Technology and Education Development Manager Megan Donnelly, with time for Q&A throughout.

Alexander D. Paul, Director of Photography, has worked on numerous popular television shows and movies. Most recently, Alexander has served as Director of Photography for Apple TV's Home as well as Netflix's highly acclaimed Street Food: Asia, which has earned him a James Beard Award Nomination for Technical Excellence. Originally from New London, CT, Alexander graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor's Degree in media studies and then moved to Los Angeles where he began working as a local 600 camera assistant. He has worked under the guidance of cinematographers such as Academy Award winner David Stump, Emmy-Nominated cinematographer Will Basanta, as well as former President of the American Society of Cinematographers Michael Goi. Rachael Doughty is originally from Cleveland. She moved to LA to work at Panavision Hollywood, and AC'd on the west coast for two years before moving to NYC. Once on the east coast, Rachael joined the union and worked mostly on studio TV shows. Over the years she has transitioned into working on more travel shows, such as Netflix's Street Food. She currently aspires to do more camera operating and photography. She also has a passion for film photography, which has been able to evolve through experimentation and a certain fondness for in-camera double exposures. Anthony Hart is an IATSE Local 600 camera assistant based in Los Angeles, CA. He came up through the camera department in New Orleans, LA and moved to LA four years ago to pursue more travel work. He has worked as the 1st AC on Street Food: Asia and Street Food: Latin America, with a personal emphasis on wildlife cinematography and conservation. He also loves dogs...and ice cream.
