***PLEASE NOTE: This virtual training session will take place in the EASTERN TIME ZONE.***

In this exclusive, information-packed workshop we will show you new ways to shoot and light your interviews.

This class takes place on the Zoom video conference platform, which is free to join and easy to use. Instructions will be sent to you before the class begins. Once the class starts, you will see the instructor, the gear being used, and the instructor's presentation. You will be able to ask questions via a live, moderated chat. After the class ends, you will receive a handout with many of the instructor's relevant links to camera, lighting, reading, research, hardware and applications.

We will cover important lighting and camera techniques that will teach you how to light the interviewee to the very best cosmetic effect. We'll also go over a step-by-step exploration of composition, lens choices and why you should choose one ƒ-stop over another.  We will explore and refine the decision-making process that will help you create the best-looking interview ever!

During the class, we will screen many helpful video examples and ground plans from past professional shoots to illustrate numerous looks, lighting designs and camera plots.  Whether you own or rent camera and lighting equipment as a cinematographer/creator/filmmaker, this class will help you make the best choices to positively impact your next project.
