8 Ball Camera Support Slider - 5’

The 8 Ball Camera Support Slider (5') comes with a Mitchell Mount. Optional ball adapters are available, if that better suits your needs.

All parts of the 8 Ball camera slider are CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminum. In order to provide a smooth finish with no sharp edges, 8 Ball tumbles the camera slider parts in a deburring machine for approximately 2 days. The sliders are pre-assembled with stainless hardware.

Bearings on this slider are German and Swiss made. The bearings on this slider run against the inside of the track, which is less vulnerable to nicks from wear and tear. In addition, since the tracks are not exposed, you may not experience as many issues in a dusty or sandy location since you can easily keep the track clean of this type of debris.

This slider includes mount points to allow you to attach it to tripods. You may prefer using (2) of your tripods to mount this slider on the end mounts for a more secure hold and to prevent flexing during movement.

A brake is included to permit you to lock the camera and slider portion (sometimes called the carriage) in place on the tracks, while moving the unit or setting it up initially. 

8 Ball coats various parts in a black anodized with a flat black color.
