Overview
The Sigma 18-35mm and 50-100mm T2 Cine High-Speed Zoom - PL Mount feature a consistent T2.0 aperture through the entire zoom range, and are optimized for ultra-high resolution cinematography. With exceptional image quality and a compact form factor, these lenses are ready for shooting in 6K to 8K, thanks to the same optical system that delivers 50 megapixel or higher resolution in still photography. Both zooms features coverage for a Super-35 image, with minimal flare and ghosting. Color balance has been standardized across Sigma's High Speed Zoom line, designed to comply with Sigma's CCI standard.
Sigma High-Speed Zoom lenses feature the same dust-proof and splash-proof construction as their sports lenses, with each ring and mount specially sealed to prevent water and dust from entering. This makes each lens particularly robust for use in tough conditions, reducing the burden of maintenance. The front outer diameter is 95mm, and an interior 82mm filter thread allows use of screw-in round filters.
