The Pro Action is one of the newest offerings from Gates. It incorporates many familiar Gates features, as well as some new ones. This low profile housing is made for both RED cameras and the ARRI ALEXA Mini. You can use DSLR or small PL cine lenses within, giving you a wide choice of lenses. Submersible up to 200 feet deep, its lower profile and light weight make the Pro Action a great choice for filming surfers.
In this video, I demonstrate the assembly process with a Pro Action and a RED DSMC2 body, including hardware and camera settings. Then I show some of the Gates housings available for other camera models, such as the DEEP WEAPON, Canon C300 housing, and ALEXA Mini housing.
