Gates Pro Action Underwater Housing

The Gates Pro Action Underwater Housing is designed with purpose-built features for "run and gun" scenarios: a sleek, compact profile for the free diver pursuing bait balls, integrated (pivoting) external monitor for the surf shooter composing the perfect wave, and multi-camera compatibility (RED DSMC/DSMC2 and ARRI ALEXA Mini).

Pro Action travels easily, fitting comfortably in a carry-on size Pelican case with camera, monitor, and battery neatly tucked inside for the trip. Pro Action accepts all DSLR glass and smaller PL mount lenses. Various optional accessories extend Pro Action’s range, including riskier "pole cam" shots of sharks in action.

The Gates Pro Action Housing is built for surf, dive, and exploratory imaging. Like all Gates products, Pro Action includes a 2 year warranty and customer support.

Integrated External Monitor Housing

Designed specifically for the Transvideo Starlite HD5 (sold separately), the integrated external monitor follows the sleek profiles of Pro Action, pivoting a full 90° for top or rear viewing. Top mounted External Monitors are optional, too.

The Gates Seal Check Lite is included with Pro Action and assures housing integrity before entering the water. Weighing just 0.7 lb (320 g), it packs easy and travels lightly.
