Overview
The Core SWX Helix 9 Mini 98Wh 14.8V Dual Voltage Lithium-ion Battery Pack - V-Mount encompasses all the features of Hypercore, with the added function of dual 14V/28V* simultaneous output. Helix takes advantage of proprietary technology for ultra efficient, nearly lossless power transmission to high voltage operating equipment at a 99% efficiency rate. This unique design allows each Helix battery to output up to 33.6V, within the top range of high voltage acceptance, thus drawing less current, creating less heat. and extending both operational runtime and product longevity.
*NOTE: The mean voltage rating of Helix outputs are 14V and 28V, with a maximum charge rating of 16.8V and 33.6V, respectively; most high voltage range equipment accepts up to 34V.
Safe for Standard Voltage Systems
Helix's infrastructure allows each pack to function as a standard V-Mount 14V battery in all applications, without the fear of accidentally transmitting higher voltage. Along with standard power applications, Helix charges on all standard Lithium-ion charging device (including Anton/Bauer), permitting seamless integration with your current fleet of onboard power options.
High Voltage Output
To unlock the high voltage output function, couple Helix with a Core SWX mount plate (sold separately). Once mounted, the battery pack will transmit the higher voltage efficiently to the camera, yet still have access to 14V for other production accessories. In addition, the battery mount plates are compatible with standard on-board battery packs, so you can continue to use your existing onboard batteries on a wide range of cameras with different input voltage requirements (ARRI AMIRA, ALEXA, ALEXA MINI, etc.) when using a Helix mount.
