This past Saturday, AbelCine held its first Spring Tech Showcase event at its Industry City location in Brooklyn, NY. The day was full of new technology, hands-on demos, inspirational panels, and much more. More than 15 camera, lens, lighting, and technology manufacturers showed off their latest gear, including some exciting product first looks. Panel discussions and educational breakout sessions took place throughout the space as well.

Our new Advanced Digital Cinema series is launching December 15-18. This series will give you all the technical knowledge needed to advance your career in the Camera Department, including media management and LUTs, working with Log, and building a DIT cart. It consists of four live stream workshops, as well as on-demand materials that you can review on your own time.

In-person training has resumed for select workshops at AbelCine, and we've developed a series of safety protocols to keep our instructors and students safe. These include mandatory negative COVID-19 test results for all instructors and attendees and agreement to abide by our onsite safety protocols and requirements.
