The SCARLET-W uses RED's DSMC2 platform and features interchangable OLPFs (utilizing RED's intelligent OLPF system). Also present is the ability to load and output 3D LUTs. A monochrome version is also available. See the table below for a list of resolutions and frame rates.

Current SCARLET DRAGON owners will receive a $2,500 discount and get to keep their existing camera. The Base I/O V-Lock Package includes the SCARLET-W BRAIN with integrated media bay, an aluminum Canon EF lens mount, one of the three available DSMC2 OLPFs (either Low Light Optimized, Standard or Skin Tone-Highlight), DSMC2 Base I/O V-Lock Expander (with audio I/O, HDMI and SDI outputs, sync, CTRL, power and USB), DSMC AC Power adapter, one 120GB RED MINI-MAG, DSMC2 RED Touch 4.7" LCD and DSMC2 Universal Handle.
We are currently taking deposits for all packages. The SCARLET-W brain is expected to arrive in February 2016, and the SCARLET-W Base I/O V-Lock package will be available in March 2016. Customers who have already put a deposit on the RAVEN may upgrade to the SCARLET-W with no additional deposit required.
