I spoke to David Missall, the Manager of Customer Development & Application Engineering for Sennheiser USA, about the new AVX.
The AVX plugs into an XLR connector on your camera, camcorder, or DSLR. AVX is a single channel digital wireless receiver/transmitter system. The AVX is perfect for run-n-gun to capture unpredictable levels of audio due to its ability to automatically set the receiver levels by itself. With a unique form factor, the AVX will fit on any camera with XLR connectors. The AVX will be available in May 2015. Watch my video above to learn more about the new Sennheiser AVX.
